WoodyNess is a creative husband and wife partnership based in a beautiful Scottish Highland Glen in Inverness-shire not far from the iconic Loch Ness.
Woody has a true passion for hand carving and turning wood, this has led to the creation of some truly stunning pieces, many of which can be found for sale here.
He focuses mainly on turned bowls, of various shapes and sizes, but also turns beautiful Twig Pots, Tealight Holders and Crochet Hooks. He also likes to hand carve spoons, hair pins, shawl pins and Celtic Knots.
Woody is happy to embellish his work with colour, in the form of paints or dyes or with carving. But quite often he lets the natural beauty of the wood speak for itself. He predominantly uses native wood such as Ash, Beech, Birch, Cherry, Oak, Sycamore and Yew but is occasionally tempted by exotic woods like Chamfuta and Sapele.

In our shop you will find a selection of wood turned bowls and oddities in a variety of wood types, finishes and sizes. The pieces have been chosen to suit a wide range of budgets from the dinky trinket bowls to the more expensive and exclusive items from the 'WoodyNess Collection'.
