Large wooden yarn bowl, perfect for controlling your yarn whilst knitting or crocheting. The bowl can accommodate up to four 25g balls of 2ply jumper weight yarn or one 100g ball. The holes can be used to feed the yarn through and to hold knitting needles/crochet hooks when not in use.
Hand turned from a highly figured piece of spalted beech, with unusual inclusion shaped like a smile. The shape of the apertures have been designed to portray a smiling face. This bowl is affectionately known as Woolter.
Finished with Danish Oil and Carnauba Wax for protection and a sheen that emphasizes the natural beauty of the wood.
